Banks of the Nile is "Egypt" for Enslaved by Egypt?

Can one of the Redemption lawyers confirm that Banks of the Nile/Pharaoh's Court is an "Egypt" site for the purposes of Enslaved by Egypt.

That is, if I have Banks of the Nile/Pharaoh's Court in play, then Enslaved by Egypt cannot be negated by good cards.

It says in the Reg for Banks of the Nile/Pharaoh's Court: Attributes: Egyptian • Identifiers: Egypt

The issue is that Enslaved by Egypt says specifically "...if the Egypt Site" is in play. It doesn't say "...if an Egypt site..." or "...if an Egyptian site..." I wouldn't want to play Banks of the Nile/Pharaoh's Court in a tournament, try to make a capture with Enslaved by Egypt, and have it ruled negatable because Banks of the Nile/Pharaoh's Court isn't "the Egypt" site.

Thanks..

It does not counts as Egypt (a specific, named Site) for Enslaved by Egypt.
It does count as an Egyptian Site for Jambres or Building Egypt.

Yeah, I never even thought it possible that BotN/PC was the same as Egypt.

I think he just read the "Egypt Site" part and thought it meant "Egyptian-type Site", is all.

No. I'm well aware of the distinction between Egypt and Egyptian  ;D. What prompted my question was that in the REG it is listed with
"Identifier: Egypt".

If it doesn't trigger the CBN part of Enslaved by Egypt, what is the purpose of the Egypt Identifier? No other card to my knowledge makes reference to "Egypt" - they all say "Egyptian", including this card. So I'm trying to understand why the extra identifier "Egypt" was added in the REG.

Thanks,
Egyptian

I believe Schaef got it, right but I'll chime in with a second opinion.

Enslaved by Egypt mentions a specific card by name, in this case the site named Egypt.  BotN/PC does not meet that qualification as it's name is not Egypt.

If Enslaved by Egypt said "Cannot be negated if any Egyptian Site is in play" then BotN/PC would meet the requirement.  Pharaoh's Prison would work too.

As for the identifier "Egypt" listed in the REG, I believe this to be a typo.  The identifier on the physical card is clearly Egyptian.  When entering 90+ new cards into a database it would be pretty easy to inadvertently shorten Egyptian to Egypt.  Nice catch though. :)

I wish that could be errated or a revision to Enslaved by Egypt would come out in the next set...With three Egypts and BoN/PC I'm just a tad short. I usually play it with four Egypts. I depend on getting one Egypt site early and with four I usually do, but with only three my chances are not so good...

Oh well, I guess it is what it is... probably need to update the REG.

How big is your deck? I usually use 6 egypts in a 100+ and 2 in a 70 carder.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

REG nationality identifiers name the civilization in noun form, not in adjective form. You'll see Babylonia, Assyria, Rome, Media-Persia, etc. rather than Babylonian, Assyrian, Roman, Medo-Persian, etc. It's not a typo, it's a design decision.

56. So I suppose some people would say 4 Egypts is perhaps too many. But the sites are in there to trigger special abilities AND (occasionally) to slow the opponent down. If I get lucky sometimes I even manage to site-lock my opponent.
