Hi there,
while Enoch (Patriarch) started a Rescue Attempt opponent blocks with Creeping + Sapphira from hand.
Can now still Cymbals of the Levites be played on Enoch to negate Deveiver?
Creeping Deceiver: Protect up to 3 N.T. Lost Souls in Sites from rescue. May band to a heretic or N.T. female Evil Character. Cannot be negated by a character.
Sapphira: Negate all special abilities on characters and enhancements (except this ability).
Cymbals of the Levites: Negate the special ability on an evil card in play. Cannot be negated if used by a Musician.
For my understanding Cymbals should still be able to negate Deceiver even tough Sapphira is already in play due to it's interrupt part (while Enoch is no Musician).
Or am I wrong here and Cymbals can "only" negate Sapphira (or even not her since it is prevented)?

Since Enoch isn’t a musician, Sapphira would prevent Cymbals from activating. If Cymbals was played on a musician then Sapphira would not be able to prevent it from activating, and nothing played afterward would be able to interrupt Cymbals. So if the target was Sapphira if Cymbals was played on a musician then Cymbals would interrupt Sapphira’s ability then prevent it from activating again. This would work since the modifier Cannot be Negated is granted to it since it was played on a musician.

Just to clarify, "Cannot be negated by a character" also includes Enhancements played on characters. Thus, if Cymbals was played on a Musician (so that it's not negated by Sapphira) you still would not be able to negate the Creeper.

And to add on to the prior posts, since Creeping Deceiver can't be negated by characters, and since all enhancements are played by characters, Creeping Deceiver can't be negated by Cymbals either, regardless of whether or not Sapphira is in battle, Cymbals is played on a musician, etc.
Very few cards can negate Creeping Deceiver. Forsaken can negate its band, CWD can negate it, Iron Pan can negate its Protect ability, Golden Censor negates it, etc.
