Title: Blessings for Obedience
Post by: theselfevident on October 16, 2011, 10:18:44 AM
Blessings for Obedience (Pi)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 2 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: Shuffle all Evil Characters with toughness */9 or greater into owner’s draw pile. Cannot be interrupted.

If your opponent enhances their character to */9 or greater while in battle, would BfO shuffle that character?

No. All that counts is the numbers on the card.

Wrong. While the numbers on enhancements won't do anything, if the evil character's defense is pushed past */9 by something like Gate of Samaria, it will count for Blessings.

I think that you are both right. I think Red Wing is referring to enhancing the character with enhancements which would not make the EC get shuffled. Chris your saying if there permanent stat is changed by like covenant with death (Old Version) then he is shuffled which is also correct (I think).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what the initial question was, however, Red Wing wasn't entirely correct either - the actual numbers on the card is not all that matters.

Yeah that's what I meant. Sorry about the confusion.

Just a quick clarification, BfO will only shuffle said character if the increase happens before BfO is played.

It only happens to character that have a permanent stat of 9 or greater either it's natural stat or a ability that increases the stat like covenant with death (Old version). Enhancements do not count towards the number.
