Title: Bereans and AOCP
Post by: Red on March 28, 2015, 03:57:41 PM
I'm aware AOCP has no reference, but is it testamentless? If you say it is, revisit King David then.

Aocp is  NT.

It has long been the case that cards like King David and AoCp retain their testaments without having references.

It has long been the case that cards like King David and AoCp retain their testaments without having references.

This is correct, see the relevant FAQ on promo cards:

21. Do promo versions of cards that don't have verses share the verse of the regular version?
No.  If a promo card does not include a verse on the card itself, then it does not have a verse or verse book whatsoever.  This means that Matthew (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Matthew_(Di)) can search for the Unlimited version of Authority of Christ (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Authority_of_Christ_(UL)), because it has a Matthew reference, but cannot search for the Authority of Christ promo version (http://redemption.wikia.com/wiki/Authority_of_Christ_(P)), because it has no verse on the card.

All promo cards still have a testament (for the purposes of cards that reference Old Testament or New Testament), so in the example above, the promo would still be considered New Testament even though it had no verse book.
