Post by: Master KChief on December 01, 2009, 10:19:50 AM
is benaiah a musician? he played the trumpet.

1 Chronicles 16:6 (New International Version)
and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.

also:

Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah were chosen to play the lyres.*3 - 1 Chronicles 15:20

Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer--all of whom were priests--were chosen to blow the trumpets as they marched in front of the Ark of God. Obed-edom and Jehiah were chosen to guard the Ark. - 1 Chronicles 15:24

Asaph, the leader of this group, sounded the cymbals. His assistants were Zechariah (the second), then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel. They played the harps and lyres. - 1 Chronicles 16:5

The Benaiah card is a different Benaiah, who was one of David's mighty men (2 Sam. 23:20). But this does mean we could see a "Benaiah the Levite" (white musician) card in the future.
