My son & I are in a battle right now but aren't sure how the scoring works. His hero has 14/11 and my evil character has 13/11. We don't have anymore enhancements to play, so what happens now?
-
Your 14 kills his 11, he dies. His 13 kills your 11, you die.
When both characters die, the scenario is mutual destruction and is considered a successful rescue attempt/battle challenge for the Hero.
-
when both characters die by the numbers, that is.
-
which is precisely the situation he described to me.
-
Thank you very much!! I understand for this battle we died by the numbers, but how do you die not by the numbers?
-
Some cards cause a mutual destruction by special ability such as "Discard all cards in battle" or "Remove all cards in battle from the game." These are typically evil cards and in this type of mutual destruction, no Lost Soul is rescued.
The 10th Anniversary rulebook outlines these scenarios pretty well, it might helpful to check that out too. :)

If your defense */(this part) is higher than the offense (this number)/* you live.

Olimar, Raven, no flame wars! I can see it coming. Stop being argumentative, and no provoking.
