Title: Battle Cry and Adino
Post by: Ammian on December 07, 2010, 04:23:09 PM
•Does the "interrupt the battle" part of battle cry get negated by Adino, since it's technically not banding?  If so, would Adino be unable to interrupt the battle if, say, the opponent played Corrupted, thus getting converted and ending the battle, when otherwise he would be able to interrupt the battle and band a bunch of heroes in?

Are you assuming there's an occupied site in play? Because otherwise Corrupted would be prevented by Adino and this situation wouldn't happen.

Yes, and I should have specified that.  I am indeed assuming that an occupied site is in play.

Based on the "negate/prevent part of a card" precedent set forth by Household Idols rulings, I'd say Adino does indeed prevent the interrupt. INE, though.

Hmm ...okay.  Can I get a confirmation on that?

Browarod is correct. Adino (w/ Spear) prevents the interrupt portion of Battle Cry.

Thanks!  That is good to know.
