Title: Banding Question

I begin a rescue attempt with Jacob and use his SA to play Numerous as the Stars and exchange it with Ira.  Would this work?  I see no reason why it wouldn't since Numerous as the Stars can not be negated.

Jacob: Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Blue • Ability: 6 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: May band to a silver brigade Hero, or you may play a Genesis Enhancement.

Numerous as the Stars: Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Blue • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: If used by a Genesis Hero, exchange this card with a human Hero in deck. Cannot be negated.

Ira: Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Blue • Ability: 8 / 8 • Class: None • Special Ability: All special abilities on character cards and enhancement cards except this one are interrupted and prevented. Battle is determined by the numbers.

Yep, works just fine.  Numerous as the Stars can't be negated, even by Ira.

Nice move, but why not just band to Captain? Then you can still use Benjamin. :P

Because if Jacob gets CM'd, a blue enhancement can still be used in a numbers situation.
