Title: Banded character abilities

If I band Joshua the High Priest to Haggai and then play Two Bears can it be negated because of Joshua the HP's special ability? We ruled that it could be negated since we didn't believe that the "can not be negated" part applies to enhancements used by Haggai.


Joshua the High Priest
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Teal • Ability: 7 / 8 • Class: None • Special Ability: Enhancements used by this Hero cannot be negated. If a silver brigade Hero is in play, this Hero is immune to pale green brigade.

Haggai
Type: Hero Char. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 9 / 8 • Class: None • Special Ability: You may search your deck for Zerubbabel’s Temple and put it in play. May band to Zechariah or a Zerubbabel’s Temple High Priest.

Two Bears
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 4 / 2 • Class: None • Special Ability: If used by a Prophet, interrupt the battle and select one card of each evil brigade in play. Shuffle them into deck.

No, two bears could be negated, and here is why:

That means only enhancements played on Joshua the HP are CBN.
