Title: Babylonian Banquet Hall
Post by: SignoftheStar on March 29, 2014, 07:56:28 PM
Babylonian Banquet Hall reads "This Site may hold one Lost Soul for each Babylonian Site in play." Does it include itself in its own ability? In other words, does Babylonian Banquet Hall start out by being able to hold two souls- one by game rule, and then another for the one Babylonian Site in play, which is itself?

It does count itself as one but it cannot hold 2 souls unless a second Babylonian site is in play.

So in other words, the Hall holds one soul for every Babylonian Site in play- PERIOD- so you don't then apply game rule in addition and thereby a second soul to the Site.

Right?

The "game rule" is just the default for when a site doesn't specify. Since BBH DOES specify it takes precedence and modifies the number of Lost Souls it can hold. BBH starts out being able to hold 1 like any other site and gains additional "slots" as a bonus if you have other Babylonian Sites in play.
