Title: Asherah pole

Asherah Pole says something to the effect that if an OT hero enters battle, evil enhancements CBN. And more but this portion is my focus right now.
 My question is does this benefit my opponent if my hero’s are OT? Or is this just read for the holder and only works for the holder?

It works for any player who is blocking an O.T. Hero.
