okay so I was playing my son with the Armor of God of set. Then I realized they all seemed to have one phrase that kinda threw me off:
......"If hero enters battle"....
Now I understand they are Territory class enhancements, but also I understand they can be played as normal enhancements...how does the phrase work with these cards: "If Hero enters battle..." does it refer to this card being placed as a territory card then remaining on the Hero until they enter battle, then the other ability activates. OR does it activate only if I use it as a normal enhancement? Just wondering how I should play these cards when I get to the "If Hero enters battle" phrase. Thanks for any clarification.

Regardless of when the enhancement is placed on the Hero, when the Hero moves from out of battle to in battle the effect triggers. If the Hero is already in battle without the enhancement and you play the enhancement then, it won't trigger the enter the battle effect because the Hero is already there and the trigger happens when it first enters.

Thanks, now just so I am understanding the "territory enhancement" can stay on the character?

Only if it says place on a hero like the Armors or Fruits of the Spirit.
