Does Arianna special ability come into effect in the territory? or just when she enters battle? (Protect all cards in holder's hand draw pile from being discarded or removed by an evil special ability.)

She is not a territory class character so her ability would only activate in battle

Shouldn't there be some kind of fix for all of these old Heroes that should have this ability but don't?

Most characters see reprints with updated or new abilities. I wouldn't have hope in seeing Angel Wars characters get reprinted though.
