Is Ambush the City a "side battle" card? Can I play more than one Ambush the City in the same battle phase?
-
Ambush the City
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Yellow • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: If making a rescue attempt, set all cards in battle aside (regardless of immunity). Holder may begin a new rescue attempt against same player. Once new rescue attempt is completed, the original battle resumes as a battle challenge. Cannot be negated.
It causes a side battle to take place. You can play more than one but you can't cause more than one side battle per player per turn.
Only one side battle may be initiated by a player each turn.

Which battle is the side battle?

interesting question... i would say that the side battle would be the 1st battle, as it becomes a battle challenge but i'm not sure :P

confused here. Need more detail.

I'm with Clift, I want clarification. I have played 2 or 3 in one battle phase before, trying to fish my way to a free soul in case they had no more characters...

Hey,
Is Ambush the City a "side battle" card? Can I play more than one Ambush the City in the same battle phase?
No it is not currently a side battle card. Looking in the REG under Instant Ability Cards -> Fight Each Other Cards -> Hero Enhancement Cards you will find that Ambush the City is not listed. Yes you can play more than one Ambush the City in the same battle phase and all of them will take effect.

The reason is that no side-battle is caused. Side-battles involve Heroes fighting Heroes or EC's fighting EC's. The original battle is set aside but it is not a side-battle.
