I have a couple of questions that came up in a game I just played.
1) First of all, The Centurion at Capernaum. The wording is a little confusing. His special ability states: "Negate special abilities on Site and Evil Characters, except banding and warrior-class. This Hero has access to all Sites." I'm curious: I've never known a card to negate the warrior-class symbol, so does Centurion not negate the special abilities on warrior-class evil characters? In other words, do my warrior-class evil characters' special abilities still activate?
2) Forgotten History states: "Select up to four cards from one opponent's discard pile and remove them from the game. The battle immediately ends. Cannot be negated." Does the battle end without resolution, or do we still compare numbers to determine who wins the battle, and if my hero wins I can still redeem the Lost Soul?
Thanks!

1) Yes.
2) End the battle forces the battle into the resolution "phase", so you still compare numbers.

2) Can you use something like Covenant of Noah to negate some numbers at this point, or is it too late for that?

It's too late to do anything, including playing Dominants. Once battle resolution starts (which is what "end the battle" card do) nothing can be played until battle resolution is over. After the battle phase ends it's too late to negate a card that was played in a previous phase.
Also, Cov of Noah cannot negate numbers on Forgotten History because FH cannot be negated.

I understand it would be too late for AotL but what about stuff like burial and harvest time?

No Dominants can be played during battle resolution.
That's one of the reasons why Hormah has seen so much play. If I discard my EC because he's losing by the numbers, it triggers Hormah and you have no chance to play Harvest Time to pull out a LS. FYI - it doesn't work this way if your EC loses because of a special ability or Dominant because that doesn't automatically send the battle to battle resolution.

Well stated. :D
