Title: 2010 Nationals Special Cards
Post by: frisian9 on October 28, 2010, 06:51:10 AM
The personal cards available through the 2010 Nationals tournament are now listed in the REG. They are tournament legal up to by not including the 2011 nationals (I believe). Someone please confirm it.

All Red heroes created at Nats 2010  via the Custom hero program have the WARRIOR CLASS symbol.

They are legal for all tournaments through NATS 2011.  At that time Rob will determine ......  #1  If there are any competitive imballances from the custom heroes themselves.   # 2  whether or not to continue they're legal status.  # 3   Whether or not to  continue the program for other parts of the playing community.

Mike  did a great job getting them online and attached to the REG,  and we hope to  add some new info to that list soon,  like Serial #'s  and other things you come to expect from Redemption CCG.

I assume that the pictures were NOT intended to be linked to the cards? Right now, each entry's image is just a card back.

Can someone PM me a picture of their card?  I'd like to see an example of how they turned out.

Also, I'm just thankful for my autographed Fishing Boat!  But if I get the opportunity to make a STAMP card, too?  Well, that would just be gravy...in my boat.  :D

Too bad you couldn't make a custom card with the identifier disciple. Then you could make every deck a speed deck with the sole purpose of putting you in Fishing Boat, and then claim you win just by doing so.

The special ability for that card: "Place STAMP in his Fishing Boat and present new hero, at any time that hero may search entire room for Fishers of Men and play it.  Can only be used for MN Type 2 tournament.  Cannot be negated."

Isn't there a limit of one custom card per deck?

He can still band to your custom card when he plays you.  ;)

There is no card art for the custom cards in the REG. I do not have art for them. I also did not know red was warrior class. Is anything else missing?

I've heard from a pretty reliable source that these will not be legal at Nats 2011.  I guess we'll have to wait and see.
