I am addicted to RTS! So instead of asking every single person who gets on the boards (witch I may still do), why not just have an ongoing tournament?
People can enter at any time, and all games will be recorded by me. I will try to keep the standings straight. So will you join?
Have fun!
God Bless!

I would join, but I wouldn't really have a chance to play at School.
-
Isn't this basically ROOT?
-
Yeah, is this an extra tournament?
-
Yeah but I don't like joining in half way through ROOT. It seems like it messes things up. (If not I'm glad :) )

This is like root, at least almost like root. The difference is that this tourney does not end, Root lasts 1 month and then starts over, this lasts as long as people want to play. So this may never end ;)
I also kind of wanted to use excel for something and this just came to mind.
-
This also will not be testing out new rules like ROOT does. This tournament will be played with current tournament rules only.
-
If it never and its not much of a tourney
-
It is a very relaxed thing I will give you that ;)

I have a poblem that needs a solution. If I play in it, then I would have to be like a by or a lot of people are ghosted.

I do not wuite understand what you are saying ???
-
I go to boarding school and wouldnt be able to play every week. So I could only play a few times.
-
That is the biggest difference between ROOT and this, You do not have to play every week, in fact you could go a whole month without playing anyone. And there is no set scheduled of people you have to play, in that sense it is like iron man; you can play anyone at any time. I will keep track of the percent of the time you win too, that way if you have only played 6 games and someone else has played 20 you can still be compared with him.
Now do you like the idea ;D
-
definitly. I will join in on this.
-
Will anyone else join? Please.
-
What should this group be called though??? SO that way we can ask if someone wants to play a (name) game? And I'll join...

All I can think of right now is an acronym, how about this: RLT (Redemption Long Tournament)
Does this work?
-
LTT
(Long term tournament)?
also, is there a limit to the decks you can use in it? I am testing out multiple decks, and would like to know for it.
NEET
(Never Ending Everlasting Tournament)

There is no limit to the decks you can use. And I like NEET. it is easier to say and looks better.

Lol. Thanks. it look neet dont it. lol.

I think the extra E in there is just redundant. If its Never Ending, we already know its Everlasting, and I think it makes the unabbreviated name sound off.
-
I know. but NEET sounds better than NET. just kinda a repetively redundant thing. also, I am very redundant. and I say the same thing twice alot. LOL.
-
Im in. Sign me up.
-
OK, so should we call this NEET or NET? if you think NEET is better, + 1 this post...
-
...and if you like NET, + 1 this post.

I'll be in. Just to clear things up (in my mind at least), is this a tournament as much as almost an online playgroup?
-
I would do this if you can get it running. Will there be a running point total, or is this really just setting up games?

There will be a running total, the first number (whenever I start putting up numbers) will be howmany games won, the second how many games played. So it will looke kind of like this: x/z, x=games won, z=games played. Does this work?

This is both online tournament and online playgroup ;D
