Title: Hamachi safe?

okay no idea if this is the right place but, is hamachi a safe program I heard of some bad things about it and was wondering if anyone

Has got their pc hack,got a virus, got a bug, got anything else evil from hamachi

I got Swine Flu from using Hamachi, other than that I haven't had any problems with it.  :)

ok, you are correct in saying that Hamachi is dangerous.  Hamachi basically makes all the computers on its network on your LAN (local area network).  This DOES pose a powerful security risk.  I have seen some people on Hamachi where I could browse their hard drive because they set it up for file sharing.

Now, luckily, there IS a setting to prevent these risks.  When you set it up, it will ask you if you want to disable these risky sections of Hamachi.
