Hi everyone! The sign-ups for the Lackey GrandPrix #2 are now open! GoC is on Lackey, and we will play with GoC cards in this unofficial tournament.
Sign-up Deadline is 02/19, round will begin 2/20.
The format is as follows:
Attendance adjusted rounds of Swiss Style Play based on participation. We may play five rounds and top four this tournament., regular tournament rules apply with one concession to Lackey, which is a longer time limit. 1:30 time limit instead of :45.
Rotation with GoC legal
You can change decks between rounds instead of having to play a select few.
Ghosting points are awarded based on activity, willingness to schedule, and host's discretion for unplayed games. If your schedule doesn't work out, then feel free to forfeit to your opponent and post a 5-0 score. Do not specify that you forfeited, what I don't know can't hurt you.
If I know that you failed to play two rounds, I will drop you from the tournament. (If forfeitures are handled like actual games that were played, that changes the variable of this situation. You and your opponent can also intentionally draw.)
Pairings go up Sunday nights at 9:00 PM EST. Deadline for games is 7:00 PM EST Sunday nights.
*This means that the tournament is not centered on one day! You have an entire week to play *one* game!

I both want to and don't want to join. I always have some difficulty scheduling games and when I record I never end up wanting to edit it. On the other hand, I have decks to test and stuff, and playing such good players will improve me at the game. Plus it will always be fun so idk. Kinda up to you.

Just join - since you are right: It is always fun and lots to learn. Also everybody is more or less new to GoC which evens out things a little.

give it a join and just make a conscientious effort to schedule games. If something takes your availability away for a week, just let myself and your opponent know and a forfeiture/draw agreement could be reached based on availability. It's all about communication.
