Cool!

I'd offer at least T1 2P - no time limit and officially banned cards are banned in online games too.

Would there be any other category (besides Teams, Multi and Drafting) which would be of interested or which several participants would like to play?
I liked T Half quite much (also due to shorter games and different challanges regarding deck building) but I don't think that this format is still a viable one due to all these new cards not really fitting in there (reducing hand size permanently etc.).

What about a "Starters Category" where only starters G to J can be chosen for playing (also G vs G, J vs J etc. is possible - do not know whether such kind of format already exists or has a name)?

Please tell me your opinions/whishes then we'll see how to deal with.

T-1 2-P for sure.  If you decide on another category and I can fit it in to my schedule I may be interested in that as well.

Please sent me your proposals/wishes for other categories (besides the ones I mentioned and similar ones since I think those are hard to align [e.g. for multiplayer] take too much time [e.g. drafting])!

Hey Reth, TEAMS should be doable.

Also if you want to run a sealed event (each player starts with an I or J starter) plus three packs of their choice I can help facilitate that.

Thank you! Don't think that we get enough players for a team category.

What is the promo for nationals?
http://landofredemption.com/?p=9975 (http://landofredemption.com/?p=9975)

I'm assuming these will not be available for those playing online since it's an unofficial tournament, but if you're looking for info about the 2019 Offline Official National Tournament, you can find that here (http://www.cactusforums.com/official-tournaments/2019-national-tournament-date-voting/?topicseen).

Ok, so far there seem to be jesse, Silenced and me.    More players highly welcome (but Prio1 should be attending at Nats if possible!  :))

Althought I don't care about getting them from playing, they did give them out last year to us.

That would be awesome if we could get the promos! And I'd be good with any events but T2-2P and booster are my favorites  :)

I don't know how to do booster or sealed I know there is a tutorial but I'd be down to do booster/sealed.

OK, T2 2P would be fine for me (while I will not play it). And indeed: Getting the Promos as well would be awesome!

I also would really like to play booster draft (the very 1st time in my life) - but in real!  ;D
I need to check again after reading the tutorial but IMO drafting on Lackey is very time consuming and might have other disadvantages (need to read that tutorial again). When we might go for booster or sealed then MP only I assume - or what did you guys had in mind?

So currently my information is:

T1 2P:

T2 2P:

Booster (if happening):

For drafting, you can always do the draft portion itself out-of-band (i.e., the night before or whatever). It is kind of a bonus gaming session! The only real drawback to boosting in Lackey is if someone makes a mistake or a player's session gets disconnected during the draft.

There is an easy way and a not-so-hard way to run a sealed event depending on if you completely trust players not to cheat in the deck building or want a bit of control around it. The easy (trust everyone) way could be done in game. In the more controlled version, you simply send players their packs ahead of time and verify that only the sent cards are in the final decklist. Since I won't be playing, I would be happy to facilitate a sealed session.

Great idea! And thanks for being willing to facilitate!

Just started to read the LackeyCCG booster draft tutorial - does this mean by deleting the packs folder I will "only" have the maybe outdated pack folder from that tutorial - not being able to use all the latest cards anymore (if not saving current packs folder)?

And isn't DC pile visible to all players by default? Maybe better using reserve pile instead?

Guys this is awesome! It reminds me of when I ran this last year! Awesome memories for the few of us that played! I will be at Nats this year so I will not be participating in this, but hats off to you Reth for running it! Good luck!

I'm interested...but August 1st and 2nd are both very busy days for me.  :-\ It would help me if I have some notice on what time of day (EST time) the categories will each be playing at.

I am especially interested in the Starter Deck category and the Booster Draft. I like things pretty simple haha. :P

@Jaydog1616:
Hi there and welcome. Currently there isn't a fixed time slot for playing the categories. Besides Booster Draft pairings can be played at a suitable time where both players need to negotiate upon. Games should ideally be finished until next day/next matchup announced etc.

Currently there is nobody else for the starters Category but I can jump in if I can arrange it.

At which time of the day would it be possible for you to play on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of August?

OK. So up to date we'd have the following categories and participants:

T1 2P:
Booster (if happening):
Starters G to J:

For T2 only jesse applied so that category cannot start due to lack of players.

Schedule (we'll handle this flexible):

Thursday, 1st of August 2019:   Friday, 2nd of August 2019:   Saturday, 3rd of August 2019:   Sunday, 4th of August 2019:
@Jaydog1616:
If possible for you we can also prepone the Starters Category if it won't get too late.

Pairings:

T1 2P - 1st round:
T1 2P - 2nd round:

One addendum: New Storehouse Promo can be proxied by using the old Storehouse card!

I'm so sorry but I think I'm just too busy this week guys. I honestly thought I could fit in time for this, but I'm trying to fit too much into my schedule. I might be free on Saturday, but I'll have to let you know.

Sorry again for wasting your time! :( But what I CAN guarantee that I'm going to be on Lackey more often and come back active on these boards :)

Hi again Jaydog,

too bad, but that's life. Really unfortunate that you cannot attend. I'll keep you listed in your categories in case you may make it to the one or the other game.
If you'll be on Lackey more often maybe ROOT can be reastablished to get some additional tournaments/leagues rolling!

Thanks for your response!

@all: I'll drop out for today - already too late for me to play really concentrated. Hopefully we can catchup our games tomorrow evening or during the weekend!

@jesse + silenced:
Hope you will be able to play your T1 game today. Please post result here later on. Have fun and wish you GG!

Yep. GG though. Could have used my 2nd coming during final battle to get to 5-2 but this doesn't really change anything. It just looks better.  :)

2019 Online Unofficial National Tournament is over. Unfortunately only one game was played in only one category (was hoping for some more matches).Maybe we can do best of 3 or sth. similar next time if only 2 or 3 players are attending.

First place: SiLeNcEd_MaTrIx

Last place: Reth

Thank you all for your support and participation!

Regarding prices: Dunno if Mike will wants to supply those (if not I think we can also work something out for you Matrix)

Thanks again and CU!

Maybe I will try another ROOT during the Winter Season...
