Hello Fellow Tournament hosts.
May I ask if there was any ruling regarding the usage of new promo? For example, players are not allow to use the promo that they just received in a tournament they are going to be playing in. Was there any rule like that before? Thanks.

From my understanding, if you receive a promo at a tourney that is just being released for the first time then no, you cannot use it for that tourney but for any subsequent tournament. Regardless, with the new promos coming out that interact with the Reserve, they cannot be used until the RoJ set is released due to the Reserve issue.

What about promos? Are they legal at the tournament you get them at?
The rules for promos hasn't changed.

New local and district are legal after the first tournament at which they are given out.
New State is legal at Regionals and Nationals.
New Regional is legal at Nationals.
