A mutual challenge does not count as bonus game for either player because it is a challenge game for both players.  Therefore the winner would receive 3 points and the loser would receive 0 pts.  Since it was an official game between you two, I do need a score btw.

Well, this is like the NFL, where we date our seasons however we want, even if we play months into the next year.
