Lost to 1st turn Mayhem (Adotson) 5-1.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Out of curiosity, did you triple reset?

No, but a first turn Mayhem counts as a single reset in my book  ;) It wasn't as much of a first turn issue as it was a 6 or 7 turn soul drought issue. I have noticed that drawing lost souls on RTS is very hit or miss as of late.

Rankings updated to here.

The Round Robin championship week begins now, the following four people need to play the other three. The person with the most points at the end of the week (including the points earned up until now) wins. First tiebreaker is games played this week. There will be ghost points for those people whose opponents can't play, so please try to make an effort to play your games, and PM your opponents to set up your games.

Your game reports will still go here. Games need to be played by Sunday, February 27th, 11:59 PM PST.

The points should be reset. In the format information it said that the top four would play round-robin to determine the winner, not that the top four would all play either other again. There's basically no point in having a final cut if the points carry over from the qualifier.

Defeated Pol 5-1 thanks to some fortuitous dominant-drawing.

Now that Guardian has won I feel the need to bring this up again. It is now impossible for anyone else to win. Even if I win my next 3 games and finish 5-0 and Guardian loses his next 2 games and finishes 5-3, he will win. I understand we are rewarding participation, but still, that doesn't seem right.

Well, Justin offered me 20 dollars to keep the format the way it is, so...sorry guys. He just really wants to win.

In all seriousness though, I had envisioned ROOT the way it was last summer, which I think had a similar format to this (top four faced off and kept previous points). However, I see how it makes things somewhat uncompetitive, so I will reset the points, since it wasn't clear how it worked. I doubt Justin will mind, since he will be forced to be competitive for his other games. And if he does have a problem, he can beat me up like he's been doing for the past 21 years of my life (BTW, I am 23; he didn't start until I was 2).

I'm not gonna throw a fit, but that's a poor argument when it states from the original post that even a Full Loss is worth 1 point. It makes absolute sense that I should win if I win 5 out of 8 and you win 5 out of 5 in that format.

The argument would be that I went 1-2 in the Round Robin round and you went 3-0, and I still win.
