Hey all,
Sorry about the lateness, but I have had another busy beginning to the month. That means that this months tournament will probably extend a full week into May, but that's okay. It will be the same setup as last month (as it seems that most players were okay with only having to play one game per week) which is a basic Swiss-format tournament.
The final rankings for March will be posted as soon as I hear back from two people. If you want to play ROOT for April, then post here. Round 1 will start on Monday, April 11.

Unfortunately, both Hamachi and RTS are required to join ROOT. That's one of the downsides of the tournament. Hopefully soon we'll be able to use RedemptionLive! for ROOT, but until then, hamachi/RTS are the best we have.
If you are able to get both working this week, you can join and you'll get a bye. If not, hopefully you can join us next month if you can get it working by then. Let me know!

RedemptionLive?

RedemptionLive?
Mike Wolfe from CA has been working for awhile on an internet-based program for online Redemption that can be played by anyone with an internet connection. I don't know how it will work exactly, but there will be no need to use Hamachi or any other connection between computers aside from the internet. Unfortunately, Mike also has a real job and a family, so it's been taking awhile. :)

Cool!

ROOT is no walk in the park ( Except maybe facing ppl like yourself :P ) some of the best players here

Yeah, Redemption is a hard game. My cousin used to always win our Redemption duels. But still, the game is fun. When I said I eat n00bs for breakfast was a game talk. I'm really not arrogant. :)
Does the host assign someone I play, or do we challenge random people?

I run the tournament, and I assign people you play. It's just like a regular tournament, where each round lasts one week. That means you need to meet with your opponent online sometime during the week to play. Since there are an odd number of people and everyone else is all paired up, you get a bye this week. But check back on Monday to see who your opponent will be. Make sure you read the rules and other info about the tournament, and let me know if you have any questions. Glad you could join us!

Thanks! :)

Could you please take me off the hamachi account so I can rejoin? My puter had issues. Thanks!
