Title: Hard Bondage
Post by: Watchman on May 20, 2018, 12:08:43 PM
Shouldn’t this ability be changed to target a card in “a” or “an opponent’s” territory instead of “territory,” which with contemporary use of that word would mean your own territory? Unless it was meant for your own hero to be captured.

Thanks but I was referring to the F deck version.  I should have specified (forgot about this new version).

"Capture a hero in territory."

There is no play-as or errata for this card in ORCID.

Short of an errata, both Hard Bondage (F) and King Rehoboam (Ki) should be limited to targeting Heroes in your territory.

Kinda pointless to capture your own hero most of the time. Hopefully an errata will come.

Hard Bondage is from a time when "territory" could mean any territory. That rule was changed and thus it became less useful of a card. Sometimes that happens, but it does not necessitate an errata.

Pretty sure just Play As would be enough to function as intended.

Even if it worked as intended, it'd be a terrible card that would never see play in tournament-caliber decks.
