Disciples and their various names
« on: September 23, 2020, 05:21:39 PM »
This has given me problems since 4th grade Sunday School, and now I really need to separate these guys for rule purposes.  Just which disciples are represented by multiple cards under different names?  I've read that Nathaniel is Bartholomew, James half-brother of Jesus might be James son of Alpheus?  Or Jude?  Or is Jude another name for Thaddeus?   Maybe this already exists, so if there is a page similar to the one that lists the cards that didn't have a scripture reference, or that pointed out errata, could someone tell me where to find it?   And, just to confirm, if for example James half-brother of Jesus is the same person as James son of Alpheus, are they considered "the same" for deck-building purposes?

In the REG, in the Glossary, there is an entry for "Duplicate Cards".

The list of characters is too long to quote. But none of your pairs are the same character.

And yes, any characters on the duplicate characters list are the same for deck building.
