Title: Angelic Warrior (RoJ)
Post by: SEB on June 27, 2018, 12:20:23 PM
Text in question: "If blocked by a non-human, Hero may band..."

With the update of blocking: If I were to block with a human, then during normal init, play an EE to band in with Leviathan, would I then trigger Angelic Warrior's ongoing ability?

No, since there is already a character in battle, that does not trigger AW's band ability.

If you removed all the original blockers but your opponent used Gates of Hell to add a demon to battle, then it would trigger since there were no ECs already in battle.

So Leviathan is not a "blocking" character?

So Leviathan is not a "blocking" character?

I can't quote the REG rn but there is a difference between a "blocking" evil character and a "block". Leviathan would be "blocking" but when it enters battle since there the first evil character already blocked Leviathan wouldn't count as a block.

ok, i thought that was the case but making sure.

I remember the whole thing about a blocking evil character isnt blocking.

A "blocking" EC is "blocking" but it may not have "blocked."

I would agree if defending wasn't already taken to refer to the player who is being attacked.
