Title: About the cards titled New Jerusalem...
Post by: pinkfloyd on September 23, 2020, 05:07:01 PM
The New Jerusalem/Bride of Christ card that has two icons:  one multi-colored site and one multi-colored Hero, and I have 2 questions.
1.   Under the Site instructions says "you may convert this site to a hero.  When and how?  Can you just declare on your turn that "I'm making a rescue attempt and I'll present New Jerusalem, which I now want to convert to a hero?"  Or are there cards required to convert this site to a hero?
2.  Under the hero instructions, it reads "you may search deck or Reserve for New Jerusalem.  Which one?  There's a NJ which is just a multi-colored site, and a Dominant with the same title.  And I suppose if I had a big enough deck, I could get a second NJ/Bride of Christ in there.  So which one is this card referring to in the search statement?

1. Abilities on Rainbow Sites activate when they are put into battle. So during your rescue attempt, you can add NJ to battle and convert it to Bride of Christ.

2. Any card named New Jerusalem, although the intent is to search for the Dominant.

To clarify, since the New Jerusalem Site has more than 3 brigades at face value, you can only have one in any type of deck (Type 1 or Type 2). With that in mind, the only situation I can think of in which you could search for anything other than the Dominant is if you took your opponent's NJ Site and used it to search for your own NJ Site.
