Title: Ability activation on hero or evil

When I play a Hero in battle and activate the special ability, if the hero wins the battle and return to field of play, the next time I will bring that Hero in battle, is the special ability will trigger again ?

Yes it will and if it's a territory class character it will trigger again when it is put into your territory.
