Cactus Game Design Message Boards

We have several thousand extra cards that we are going to sell after going overboard to get cards to make our tournament decks.   

These range from common cards to ultra rares and signed cards/promos etc.  We have unopened women's packs (in full boxes).  We are willing to ship any of these and could take postal money orders or paypal, meet people locally (Roanoke, Virginia).
 
We have so many cards (about 3 shoe boxes) that we want to sell cards at this point as opposed to trading.

At the end of this, we are planning to donate some cards to something like the storehouse or playgroups, but wouldn't be in a position to donate right now.

have a whole box of sites, curses, artifacts, multicolored good and evil enhancements and a couple of teal and orange cards.

We have about 3 shoe boxes of other mixed cards (heros, evil, and enhancements).  There are rares mixed in with uncommon and common.  We just don't have the knowledge to sort out the rares and could sell the whole lot to a play group for a reasonable price?  We do have lots of duplicates, but could sort out duplicates etc.....

My play Group would be glad to use any cards you have but i would need a ist of what you have and about how meny cards you have over all.

Not very interested in the Womens Packs tho.

Hi and happy selling.  Here are some suggestions for success at selling a large number of cards.

1.  Pull out all the Ultrarare and Promo cards that you have.  Almost all of these have a gold border around them.
2.  Check out what those cards are worth by going here.
3.  Decide whether you want to sell all the cards as individuals (so individual players will buy them) or in bulk.
     a.  Individuals: set the price far below what you see at the above site if you want to sell quickly.
          1.  If a card is worth more than $10, then sell it for 75% of value
          2.  If a card is worth between $5 and $10, then sell it for 50% of value
          3.  If a card is worth less than $5, then sell it for $1
     b.  Bulk: It depends on whether you want your collection to be bought by resellers or playgroup leaders.
          1.  Resellers: set the price at around half of what the total value of the Ultrarare/Promos are and wait for offers.
          2.  Playgroup leaders: split the collection into groups of 1000 card sets.  Split the Ultrarare/Promos into equal
               groups so that each set gets an equal amount.  Then post the options on the forum and wait for offers.
