What to do?

Okay, I don't like to be a mean person, but I fell I have been wronged. I made a trade over 2 months ago, and I have never received my cards. I have sent the guy a couple of pm saying that I never received my cards, and he told me he was going to get them out. I sent him another pm 4 weeks ago and told him I would post against him if I didn't get my cards within two weeks. Well its been two weeks with another two week grace period. What do I do now? I have traded a bunch on here and never had this trouble getting someone else's cards or them getting mine. Help me out!!

I'd post in the trade feedback section. Bad trades happen to all of us at some point, its just a disappointing fact.

I'm sure this will sound bad/harsh for that person but...
I recommend start by stating who it was so people cease trading with him until this has been resolved

Ok. I just traded, and I told the guy I traded with, I am sending his cards out first. After I am done with this trade, I wont trade for A while. I am sending out valuble cards, And, if nobody is getting them, then I should just stop trading.

Some1 could be take'n the cards before they're sent from the post office he's use'n...I would use a different post office and see if that helps.

EDIT: I misread.... or you edited without me realizing....

It has been well over a month since I've sent mine out, and therefore it has been well over 3 weeks since you've sent yours. It doesn't take that long to go anywhere in the 48 continental states, and we don't even live that far apart (you live in Virginia, right? I live in southern MN). I've traded a lot in the past and the most its ever taken me was 3 weeks to New York and about 2.5 weeks to California.

Thought it was time that I chimed in here.  As the real life uncle of Hi123 and living in the same town, I am beginning to take a more active role in his trades, per his request for help.  I have contacted his parents as well and asked that they examine all trades and outgoing envelopes/packages not only for accuracy in content and address information, but also the quality and protection of the cards.  I'm not trying to embarrass Hi123 by pointing out that he is only 13 years old and still learning about "Business transactions", which I think is great, but I think the adults closest to him need to take an active role in helping him out.

Hi123 confided in me how frustrated he is that people are not getting their cards.  In one case he is certain that he sent them out TWICE now, and I believe him.  This shows his willingness to try to make this right, even when he ends up "losing" some really good cards.  I am asking him to confirm all addresses of those of you who are still missing cards and then resending what he can.  He also needs to communicate better with you on WHEN he sends the cards, and he needs to send your cards out quicker.  I've also asked that he print out every trade that is agreed on and file them in an organized fashion.  The biggest reason that this happened is that he has thousands of cards and makes big lists all at one time - then everyone PMs him like crazy with their trade ideas (not that this is their fault).  It is a lot for a 13 year old to keep track of, and certainly more than I would have cared to handle at that age.

But he's in a situation now where he does not have extra copies left to send out again and again.  I told him the best thing to do, if these cards never show up at either address, is to send your cards that you traded him back to you.

I'm very hopeful that Hi123, with our help, can somehow reach a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned parties, and if not then I agree it might be best for him to stop trading for a while.  Thank you all for being so patient and understanding.

I've had successful trades with hi123 in the past.  For our most recent trade the cards he sent me never arrived.  But he's not the only one.  I also traded with Brederic recently who lives in the same city.  His card never arrived and he eventually had to resend.  I'm of the opinion that there is something wrong at the USPS in that city.  I trade all the time with people all over the country and the two problems I've had receiving packages from Roanoke, VA recently are the only problems I've had with the USPS in years.

I had the pleasure of meeting both hi123 and brederic at NW Regionals.  I'm confident that both are honest traders and I believe them when they tell me they sent their cards.
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?

probably would be safer to mail out of another nearby city.

I've had a couple problems with the USPS in my town before so I usually ship out of the town I work in 20 minutes away

Lol.  While my cards ship out of Roanoke fine, now I'm wondering if we have some closet Redemption players in our Post Offices :)  They probably invented some special scanner for Bible verses or something!

I traded hi123 for a Wall of Protection previously and had no issues (he was even willing to send first because at the time he was fairly new). I personally would have no issues with trading with him.

[just putting this out there]I've traded with hi123 in the past, too. Everything went well. I trust him for future trades, there just seems to be some unfortunate events in the mail.[/just putting that out there.]

sorry, I was real busy yesterday and did not get back to check my post. I received my cards from hi yesterday. It was postmarked july 22, so I guess it really could be a rubbish local USPS that is not doing their job. I mean I live in Knoxville TN and he is in Virginia, we are practically neighbors. Maybe he was telling the truth and sent me my cards two months ago but the good ol' USPS lost them. I forgive HI23, but I do think their could be some factors that are beyond his control and are messing up his trades. Thanks HI! I still love you!

Thanks Clift for the crongrats!
