I'd be much more likely to buy a Woes playmat, but do agree that AoC seems very appropriate for the anniversary.
Would 100% buy a Woes playmat from ya! You know I did this mock up? Specifically for the full art version. If you want I could even polish this up for this format and do the logo or whatever you want on it I think I still have the file for it
AoC would be great, but I think you would need to secure the rights to the artwork. Woes must be public domain.
@Cnakeeyes - They’ll be around $20 to $25.A suggestion was made to me that instead of making it specific to the 25th national tournament, to make it broader to celebrate the 25th year of Redemption so folks who can’t attend Nats can still purchase a playmat to celebrate Redemption’s 25th Anniversary. I very much like this idea and will tweak the wording to reflect such. I just want to make sure that Redemption is in its 25th year of existence and not just the 25th national tournament that’s been held. Is this correct?
According to Covenant Games, the very first official Redemption tournament was held at the Origins Game Fair, which took place July 13th-16th, 1995.If you consider that as the very first "National tournament," then both Redemption, which was first distributed in July 1995, and the Redemption National Tournament are now in their 25th year of existence. https://www.covenantgames.com/nationals/1995nationals.htmhttps://www.cactusgamedesign.com/history/https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origins_Game_Fair
Please let us know when it is available for sale. Thanks and God bless you
If I buy cards with it, will they be available before deck checks on Thursday?
Here's the final version. Many thanks to JD for designing the mat! He did a great job. They'll be for sale for $20.00 at Nationals! If you would like to reserve one please message me and let me know how many you'd like. Thanks again for everyone's input!
Welcome back to Redemption! I was looking for that playmat too a few years (?) ago? In the end I checked for the artwork and put it together with the Redemption logo and ordered a custom playmat with that motive by an online store offering that service!
