The Storehouse Reborn!

Hey guys & girls, have you ever wondered what to do with all those excess cards?  Well, this is your answer!  I am willing to take your old cards and give you a discount on any packs, tins & starter decks you might need.  All you have to do is ship your cards to me and I will calculate the total worth of cards and then you can use that value to get up to 30% off any current Redemption product.

Here is how the pricing works:

1 cent:

for all non-retired, non-special ability cards

2 cents: for all cards with special abilities from the following:

Commons/Uncommons from the Limited, Unlimited, Prophets, Apostles, Patriarch & Angel War sets

Rares from the Limited, Unlimited, Prophets, Apostles, Patriarch sets

All cards from the G/H starter deck

5 cents: for all cards with special abilities from the following:

I/J Starter Deck

Commons/Uncommons from the Kings & Priests sets

Ultra-Rares from the Apostles & Patriarch sets

Full Three Lions Gaming prices: (1/2 value for all non-special ability cards)

Rares/Ultra-Rares from the Kings, Angel Wars & Priests sets

All cards from the following:

Faith of our Fathers, Rock of Ages, TxP, Disciples, Early Church & Promos

All retired cards that include the following:

A/B Starter Deck, C/D Starter Deck, E/F Starter Deck, Warriors & Women's Sets

Special Prices for the Following cards:

 Value:

Balaam's Disobedience
Covenant of Noah
Goliath (L/UN)
Samaria (PS)

Half TLG Price:

Destruction of Nehushtan
Guardian of Your Souls
Wall of Protection
Saul/Paul

Full TLG Price:

Haman's Plot
Lost Soul (Proverbs 22:14) (2-Liner)
Lost Soul (Proverbs 22:14) (3-Liner)

After your cards have been received and the value has been calculated here is how it works.  I will have a list of who has credit and how much in the following post.  After you have been informed of how much value you have you can then place an order either on this topic or through PM, and you will be given a discount based on the amount of credit you have.  I have pretty much everything available from packs to starter decks to the new Early Church packs.  Here is how the purchase system will work.

20% off of the Cactus Game Design listed price for all orders.

25% off of the Cactus Game Design listed price for all orders over $50.

30% off of the Cactus Game Design listed price for all orders over $100.

The percentage off will be the credit you have been given.  So lets say you have $40 credit, here is how a purchase would look:

A $30 order would be sold to you for 20% off, meaning your order would cost $24 and you would still have $34 credit left.

A $50 order would be sold to you for 25% off, meaning your order would cost $37.50 and you would still have $27.50 credit left.

A $100 order would be sold to you for 30% off, meaning your order would cost $70 and you would still have $10 credit left.

Note:*    Your discount can not exceed your credit.  So if you place a $10 order, but only have a $1 credit you will have to pay $9 instead of the customary 20% off which would be $8.

Shipping for orders under $50 will be $3.  Shipping for orders over $50 will be $6.

Attention New Playgroups:

Just like the original Storehouse the main reason to acquire cards for other players is so that they can be given away.  The only difference is that I ask for you to cover the shipping cost.  The shipping will be $5 per order, and the cards are now just a flat rate.

Every random card is for sale for $0.03 a piece or you can trade me your cards and get a random card for $0.05 a piece.  Shipping could decrease depending on the size of the trade.

I am currently going through my inventory and re-categorizing my cards I'm collecting for my playgroup, so I will have a breakdown of every card that is in the Storehouse and also any needs for my playgroup if you would like to trade.

*Non-Duplicate offers*
If you order 400 or less cards, I will make sure you get 400 unique cards, you might receive the kind of card (Bow & Arrow, Gabriel, etc) but they will be from a different set!

Once I go through my inventory I will have more deals for this!

Be advised: when I have a chance to re-catalog the original Storehouse collection, I'll be happy to transfer them all to you.  I just need to work out a way to get them to you, since it would cost me like a bazillion dollars to ship.

Also: if someone with access could un-pin the old Storehouse thread, that would be super.

Appreciate it, but there's too much baggage.

Having said that, maybe it's time to talk to Matt and Travis and the others and consider if we want to work on bringing Nationals back to Columbus in '14 or '15.

I would be glad to have it there again, and would probably be able to bring up a good sized group from KY (we brought 15 to NYC).  But OH was pretty down last year tournament-wise.  There was the Redemption for Micah event in the fall (which we went to), but I don't think there were any other tournaments other than Travis' store impromptus.  I'm pretty sure there wasn't an OH State tournament, and the MW Regional was elsewhere.

I think Travis is still actively playing through his store, and I think Jonathan Pequinot is also active there.  Allen and Rebeccah Collins are also still active and even came to Nats this summer.  I haven't seen Rod Stewart or the Stroh brothers in a long time, but they might still be around.  Sounds like it's time for Redemption Revival in OH :)

To be fair, Mark, Nats is down unless it's in Minnesota. The turn out at Nats this year was fairly decent, but nothing compared to the first Nats in NYC (2006, my first Nats).

Even Nats in MN is down compared to the heyday a long time ago.  I was talking at Nats this year about how it was possible for Nats to have 250 people almost a decade ago in MN, when even the most recent MN Nats (2 yrs ago) had 100 less.

There's a lot to it really, but I think it was basically a perfect storm of goodness (charismatic and dedicated host + completely supportive church = really strong local playgroup x multiple playgroups like that in close proximity), and I don't think that is likely to happen again anytime soon, so I don't think it's probably a good idea to compare to that year.  Rather we should see that as an anomaly, and look at MN ('02 = 117) or ('11 = 155) as more normal.

However instead of just looking at raw numbers, if you look at the level of competition, this year's Nats stacks up against just about any other Nats very strongly.  My informal rundown would say that almost 25 of the top 30 current players in the game were there in NYC this summer.

Yes it is.  I'm trying to figure out some ways to get more people interested in this.  So the current deals are available, and I hope to add different options by the new year!

I am interested in up to 2 of the 20$ options, if that is possible. It would be for me and my other friend who want to start a play group a little bit west of the twin cities MN. If there is not as much interest around me than I will only get one. Please PM me. I will be gone till after the new year, so I may want some of your new options you post after then.

Yes you can get 2.  I'm still trying to figure out different ways to get more interest in these cards.  The sets are probably going to be very specific cards like full sets, or choose the cards yourself but those will obviously be more costly.  So let me know what you would like to do.

If you would like to ship them to me you can just do that and I'll sort them myself.  You will get some credit towards discounted product!

It has been a really long time since I have updated this thread.  I have kept the same "sets" together, but I have added a option where I would be willing to trade the sets for needs for my playgroup.  Hopefully this gives an additional option to help both of our playgroups without the need for either to spend any money except shipping!

Attention New Playgroups:

Just like the original Storehouse the main reason to acquire cards for other players is so that they can be given away.  The only difference is that I ask for you to cover the shipping cost.  But, because you are covering the cost, you can decide how many cards you want, and also what you want in your box.  I have three different options listed below.  Each option could also contain Dominant, Artifacts, Covenants, Curses, Fortresses, Sites & Lost Souls.  So let me know which one is best for your playgroup!

Set options:

*Between 475 & 500 cards, you can pick 6 colors (3 good & 3 evil) that this deck will consist of:  $15 sale or $40 trade

*Between 825 & 850 cards, this set will contain at least 20 cards from all 13 colors, it will also have some doubles:  $20 sale or $50 trade

*Between 1150 & 1175 cards, this set will also contain at least 20 cards from all 13 colors, it will also have some triples:  $25 sale or $60 trade

*Randomized Grab Bag:  $30 sale or $70 trade

    350 different cards

at least 50 Rares or Ultra-rares (pulled from every set, but most of these include Patriarchs and before)

at least 20 Retired cards (A/B, C/D, Women, Warriors, maybe E/F, but if I can put together complete sets, I'd rather have those for my playgroup)

The Commons and Uncommons will be pulled from every set, so you don't have to worry about getting a ton of Unlimited or Prophets cards

*Randomized Grab Bag x 2:  $55 sale or $130 trade

    700 different cards

at least 75 Rares or Ultra-rares (pulled from every set, but most of these include Patriarchs and before)

at least 35 Retired cards (A/B, C/D, Women, Warriors, maybe E/F, but if I can put together complete sets, I'd rather have those for my playgroup)

*Randomized Grab Bag x 3:  $75 sale or $180 trade

    1100 different cards

at least 100 Rares or Ultra-rares (pulled from every set, but most of these include Patriarchs and before)

at least 50 Retired cards (A/B, C/D, Women, Warriors, maybe E/F, but if I can put together complete sets, I'd rather have those for my playgroup)

*Large Collection set:  $100 OBO (might be willing to trade)

See the following post:  Large Collection

*Pick your own set:  Negotiable

If you don't like any of the above options, let me know what you are looking for and lets work out a deal.  You need some cards, I want them to be put to use, so lets make a deal!

Special offers!

If you want to decide what some of the cards included in your set are, this is a good option for you!  If you would like to choose one of the options below you will get every card in that category unless stated otherwise.  So pick a set below and if the set is higher than the listed price then you will add $5 sale or $15 trade for remaining cards.  If the set picked was let than the price, then you will keep the price as the same as listed, but guarantee those cards in the set. Here are some of the options:

Limited C/U Set: $9 sale or $11 trade
Limited Complete Set: $22 sale or $27 trade
Unlimited C/U Set: $6 sale or $9 trade
Prophet C Set: $3 sale or $6 trade
Prophet C/U Set: $8 sale or $14 trade
Prophet Complete Set: $15 sale or $25 trade
Womens Complete Set: $32 sale or $45 trade
Warriors C/U Set: $33 sale or $44 trade
Warriors C/U/R Set: $58 sale or $79 trade
Warriors Complete Set (Missing King of Tyrus): $85 sale or $ 110 trade
Apostles C Set: $12 sale or $20 trade
Apostles R Set: $2 sale or $3 trade
Apostles Complete Set: $51 sale or $85 trade
Patriarchs C Set: $18 sale or $32 trade
Patriarchs R Set: $5 sale or $10 trade
Patriarchs UR Set: $10 sale or $18 trade
Patriarchs Complete Set: $51 sale or $85 trade
Kings C Set: $13 sale or $22 trade
Kings U Set: $18 sale or $32 trade
Kings C/U Set: $21 sale or $54 trade
Angel Wars C Set: $6 sale or $11 trade
Priest C Set: $13 sale or $21 trade
Priest U Set: $16 sale or $29 trade
Priest C/U Set: $29 sale or $40 trade
Faith of our Fathers Complete Set: $50 sale or $90 trade
Rock of Ages Complete Set: $45 sale or $85 trade
Faith of our Fathers 2 Complete Set: $15 sale or $25 trade
Rock of Ages Complete Set: $15 sale or $25 trade

So if you want to make sure you get a Destruction of Nehushtan and Haman's Plot you can pick set number one for $10 for the set plus $51 for the Complete Patriarchs, then you still get all 160 cards from the Patriarchs plus another 340 cards from different sets.

If you have any questions please let me know!

I will take the limited C/U set if you haven't allready sold it.

No, I am not selling them, but I am sure cachfach is. Honestly the original and prophets complete expansion don't come with anything good, execpt the 2 and 3 liner LS. You are probably better off getting something like Disciples or TEC packs.

Are you selling it?
No, but ken from three lipns gaming is (or was recentaly). But I don't want to stealcachfach's bussieness if you posted in his thread. I would PM ken and cachfach to see what they are offering.

Luke,

I'm pretty sure Ken's deals ended that he had post holidays.  Luke is that the deal that you were talking about?  And as a heads up if you don't want to steal Crashfach2002's business, you should not be making counter offers on his thread, which is what your post seemed to suggest that you are doing.  Please be careful what you post on other people's threads.  It doesn't take much for someone else to misinterpret what you were saying.  Thanks

Steven
