Post by: DaClock on December 27, 2008, 07:31:44 PM
Are any of you single-card sellers accepting Redemption Cash?
Ken?
Chris?
Roy?
Kirk?

I'm not a seller, but I might trade cards for Redemption Cash. What are you looking for?

Well, I don't have a specific list right now. I was just asking for future reference. If none of the main people are then I'll probably just put it as one of my "Haves" on my trade thread.

I haven't even thought about it.  I might.  I haven't sold much of anything since nationals.

What is Redemption cash? Do you win it from tournaments or something?

Yes. Hosts can request Redemption Cash instead of booster packs. I would guess that most state/regional tournaments this year will give Redemption Cash as prizes.

Yeah, Rob introduced it after some people complained about not being able to get FoOF or ROA for prizes. It can be used for anything Redemption on the Cactus site, including to pay tournament fees.

But with virtual cash you can get cardboard, foil wrappers, and a tin!  ;D

BubbleBoy, that is a valid question.  Your quote shows HOW to get it, but not WHAT it is.

Baseball, Redemption Cash is basically cash that can be used at Cactus's store to buy Redemption stuff.  This post was asking whether other sellers would accept it as well.

Some tournament hosts also accept Redemption Cash at their tournaments when it's given out as prizes.  I let my local playgroup use it to purchase, packs singles or tins.

I haven't decided for sure, but thanks for bringing up the idea. :) I will very likely accept Redemption Cash at least to some extent since I plan to host tournaments about once a month after I move in a week. I may not advertise it on Three Lions Gaming, but I'll probably work something out with people that are interested in using it.

I am currently willing to accept Redemption cash for up to 10% of any order. You would still place the order online if you'd like to pay with PayPal, and then mail me the Redemption cash. When I receive it, I will refund you the amount that is up to 10% of your purchase total. I will accept it toward the purchase of any Redemption items at this point, and we'll see how it goes from there. :) Please email me if you are planning to do this so that I can be aware of what Redemption cash I may be receiving. My email address is Ken4Christ4ever@Gmail.com.

Thanks!
Ken
