Title: Pokemon help
Post by: bmc25 on November 11, 2010, 10:17:19 AM
So I have not been on the boards for a long while. Funny thing is at college there is like 6 of us that play pokemon just for fun we all spent like $30 got some good cards and just play for a little relaxation...but lately i've been getting killed lol so I'm looking for a few things.

Double colorless energy x4
Dragonite FBx2
any awesome fighting and/or psychic pokemon

I have lots of Redemption cards from the priests all the way back to original lemme know if you have any of these and we will work something out!

Are we talking current cards that are tournament legal, or any cards for personal fun? I have 1000+ Pokemon cards, including hundreds of URs and eX. I know I have a plethora of Double Colorless Energies from the original set (1998), but if they were recently reprinted then I do not. What does FB stand for with Dragonite? I have several versions of Dragonite. If you have specific requests for Fighting/Psychic, then let me know.

It is not tournament style or anything we just all play for fun so any double energy will do as long as it is the one that counts as two colorless energies. The dragonite one I want is the one that can do 100 damage with a move called Giant tail. I JUST started playing with these guys for fun so I do not know very much at all sorry about that.

My cards are no longer sorted, since they were shelved over a year ago. I will have to see what I have and get back to you. I'm leaving for Epcot soon, so it won't be right away. I definitely have four of the Double Colorless. I have just about every power card Pokemon has ever made, except for those printed in the last year and a half. If the Dragonite you are referring to is the one where you have to flip a coin and it may do nothing, then there are other versions that have guaranteed damage (less than 100). If you are looking for 100 damage guaranteed, then there are several options, including the original Charizard.

Yea the one where you have to flip is the one i'm looking for thanks

I'd trade for that and the four double colorless energy if you have five I would be interested in an extra just to have to trade.

I'm also looking for any others that require only colorless energy to use there attacks that deal a high damage over 70

It's been awhile since I played, but on the side of awesome fighting/psychic/colorless Pokemon, last I checked, these cards were pretty awesome:

Hitmonchan - the first one released, who has a 20 damage move with no special ability that requires 1 fighting energy (not discarded).  This card used to be #1 in tournaments (back in the first 6 or so sets), but I'm guessing things have changed since then...

Clefable - What is with this card?  For one colorless energy (again, not discarded), you can use any attack the opponent has, and you don't even have to fulfill the discard energy requirements of their attack.  I don't know why they would make a card so ridiculous.  I think I also have Clefable, though if I don't, you can get Clefable and Cleffa from others, I'm sure.

Haunter (Fossil Version) - I don't know if this card is still in high demand, but I have the fossil version of Haunter, Gengar and Ghastly.  Haunter in particular is pretty cool, especially if you combo healing cards with him.

Ditto - not only does he copy the opponent, but all energy cards on him are considered to be of any color.

I have some others (particularly in the way of colorless) that could suit your needs too.
Hmm ...Pokemon cards for redemption cards ...now isn't that ironic-!

Blessings,
Ammian

I have a bunch of Pokemon cards from the original set through the gym trainer set, so alot of the early ones.  I have no use for them and would love to trade them for some Redemption cards if you are interested!

I might think of the following card as a homecoming gift for you, son ... perhaps.... if at least two of them start playing?  ;D ... from my very own deck!  ::)

With that logic, I'm owed 4 Grapes.  Two new players just tonight, and both female!
