Nats 2019 was a blast! Congrats to all of the placed players, a big thank you to Chris F. who hosted, as well as all of the workers and judges who made it a huge success, and a special thank you from me to all of you who purchased from YTG! Without you YTG would not be able to exist.

Due to the number of cards printed, and how many were distributed, the following is YTG’s value for the 2019 Nationals promos:

Son of God - $20.00
New Jerusalem - $20.00
Son of God / New Jerusalem pair - $35.00
Christian Martyr - $60.00
The Strong Angel - $70.00
“Darkness” Lost Soul - $90.00
Moses - $50.00
The Priest of Zeus - $50.00

All promos are available for sale at YTG!

Here’s a break down of how many of each were produced and distributed. There were 18 cards per sheet. Topcut was for T1 2P, and placements were for all official categories.

- Darkness LS (~2 sheets) - 1st place only and tournament workers
- PoZ (~2 sheets) - topcut and tournament workers
- Moses (~2 sheets) - tournament workers only
- TSA (~3 sheets) - 1st and 2nd place, tournament workers
- CM (~4 sheets) - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, tournament workers

Since Nats promo prices (past and present) have been very high, making them difficult for the community in-general to justify spending a large amount of money on one or two cards, I want to do something unorthodox.

Since you all are the buyers and users of these promos (aka the “market”), and ultimately my customers, I would like the community to provide input on what you believe would be a fair and realistic retail price for these cards as to what you’d be willing to pay for them, given the information about them (number produced, rarity, card art, borderless vs border, etc). I have already sought input from some long-time players and partially based the current prices off of their recommendations, as well as rarity, etc., and would like other community input. I feel certain cards could come down in value, while others are right about where they need to be (or, perhaps, are under-valued).

If you’d like to give your input, simply reply with a price range for each card.

There’s no point in me pricing something to a point where it simply won’t sell, so I believe y’all’s input will be a win-win for the community and for YTG.

Thank you in advance!

Derek

Bump for those who missed my second post yesterday. Your feedback for my economics experiment would be much appreciated. 😁

Here is my second try at this. I had a nice one typed up, but, alas, it somehow was lost. This will be the summed up version of the first attempt.
You mentioned Bordered vs. Borderless and 2 examples come to mind. Three Woes and Shipwreck. The bordered version is valued more than the Borderless. Both are identified as coming from the same set, same rarity and same card number. Why the substantial difference in price? I know I must be missing some puzzle pieces in this.

Son of God - $20.00

Christian Martyr - $80.00
The Strong Angel - $90.00
“Darkness” Lost Soul - $100.00
Moses - $100.00
The Priest of Zeus - $100.00

Taking into consideration the Large, Bolded, Red Lettering above - What would an estimated value be on a White Brigade Angel at Shur, 1 of 3 known to exist? How could a price be determined?

I play Redemption because I enjoy it and I collect because I enjoy it. I don't look at my hobby as an investment in hopes of a return. I will pay what I am willing to part with for a card, simply to have the card in my collection.

Godspeed,

Pricing (as someone who collects the rarest stuff) that I would value these cards at.  I have a full set already so I hope they go up in value.  But I find this to be pretty fair.  I understand The same amount of the last 3 cards were all printed but to me that doesn't mean the value is equal.

Son of God - $20.00
New Jerusalem - $20.00
Son of God / New Jerusalem pair - $35.00
Christian Martyr - $50.00
The Strong Angel - $65.00
“Darkness” Lost Soul - $90.00
Moses - $75.00 (I honestly had $30.00 in my head when I first thought of this but that was probably just way undervalued).
The Priest of Zeus - $75.00  (I honestly had $30.00 in my head when I first thought of this but that was probably just way undervalued).

I purchased two sets of these promos (all 7 cards) at Nationals for what I would consider to be a good "cost" baseline of $120. Assuming the retail for something is about 2x cost then my suggestions would be as follows:

Son of God - $20.00
New Jerusalem - $20.00
Christian Martyr - $30.00
The Strong Angel - $40.00
“Darkness” Lost Soul - $50.00
Moses - $40.00
The Priest of Zeus - $40.00

Total Promo Set - $240.00

This makes me jealous even though I got my set for below what you valued everything at.  That's awesome though you got them for that price. (edit)It does seem a little weird though you had them listed way higher on threelions and the price change now lol.
