I'm hoping maybe this thread can be stickied, I will PM Ken/Globals, but for now, I just wanted to create a reference for rare, common and uncommon cards that are considered high value for trading purposes. The criteria I used for this purpose is that if a card is a common, uncommon, rare, or from a starter deck and has a TLG value of $4 or more, then it is a high-value card. That way people who like to list the cards they have for trade can refer to this list to see if they should list certain cards as high-value cards. Obviously the prices of certain cards may rise and fall, so that a card goes below the $4 mark, but I will probably not take cards away from the list (unless a reprint comes out that is a widely available common dropping the price way down). I will try to add cards to the list when certain cards increase in price, but I can't say how often that will happen.
Obviously people are always welcome to post all of the cards they want to, but I'm hoping to help people know which of their "non-shiny" cards are actually worth something and might be tradeable.
Cards are sorted by set, with no URs, Promos, Di, TexP, or Tin Cards listed.

Mike and KoT are both ultra-rares. My goal.was.to list cards that were not already one of the more common tradable categories, so only commons, uncommons, and rares are listed.

I wonder if this could be updated especially with the tin, texp, disciple cards?

The idea was that the tin, texp and Disciple cards are naturally "higher value" when it comes to trading, due to their distribution rarity. Most people already list their tin/TexP/Di cards in trade threads. I was only focused on Starter and Booster pack cards that had a high enough value for it to be worthwhile for people to put them on their trade threads.
It probably does need to be updated of course, but I don't have time to do that at the present.

If you want a more comprehensive list of cards that have value including ultra rares (since some ultra rares have little value) and tin/box/promo cards, you can refer to my Gem City Games Redemption Store: http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/redemption-market/uthminister's-gem-city-games-redemption-store/ (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/redemption-market/uthminister's-gem-city-games-redemption-store/)

I've been out of it for a long time. What's the story with C/D Starter cards? Are those hard to get now? I thought dominants were in every starter.
-
C/D starter decks have been out of print for many years now so getting mint condition copies of some of them can be challenging ergo their prices are a little higher than the starter deck cards that are more readily available.

If you are looking specifically for C/D starter deck I think I have one I could send it to you for $20 that's including shipping. Let me know if you're interested.
