I'll raise you two bits.

Seriously, Daniel I would make an educated guess that your collection is worth more than $500 by 3LG prices.  I would also guess that if you sold it in one bulk amount it would go for about $200.

Personally I would split it up something like the following for easier selling and more money.

1 - FSP = $30
2 - PoC = $30
3 - Guardian, Destruction, New Jerusalem, Falling Away, Harvest Time = $30 (x 2 sets)
4 - Complete set of FooF = $40
5 - Complete set of RoA = $40
6 - Every lost soul except Revealer = $50
7 - KoT (orange), Michael (kings), SotL promo, 100 rares (including PotW (orange) & Judas) $50
8 - KoT (gold), AoCP, 100 rares (including PotW (pale green), Prince of the Air, Zeal for the Lord) $50

This would all add up to $350 so you would gain an extra $150, and my guess is that each of these would sell like hotcakes.  They are all in a price range that a large number of people could afford, and yet they are also all GREAT deals.  In fact, if you did this, I would like dibs on #7, #8, and both #3.

Thanks everyone, I'm still thinking long and hard on this. I have had an awesome experience as a player and as a person. I have enjoyed the strategy, competition and game mechanics of Redemption, but what I've enjoyed most of all is the fellowship with my friends in the Redemption community. I have a blast each and every time I go to a tournament. All the things listed and more make it hard for me to leave the game. And Mr. Underwood, thanks for the sale idea. I really do appreciate it, and I think I will use it if I do want to try to sell my collection. By the way (if I do sell) you can have dibs on 7,8,3. ;)

An undecided,

Daniel  :-\  :)  :-*

undecided,
As much as you are questioning this, a phrase pops clearly in my head.

"When in doubt, don't."

I suggest you quit.

You've stated the reasons why you shouldn't and they are Godly things.  However, something is tugging at your heart to consider this in the first place.  If it is from God, then by all means quit, and quit now!  If it is not from God, you may struggle with the decision afterward but ultimately it will provide you challenges and opportunities to bring you closer in your relationship with God.

It's the ultimate win-win-win situation!  (Sorry, IBM.  I coined the phrase first.   ;) )

I've helped my own son quit three separate times.  The dynamic in his life is most assuredly different than yours, but I've seen the benefit in his spiritual growth.

In fact, I sense God will ask me to quit sometime soon.   :)

Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

I disagree to the zenith level (Lambo will get that) I don't thinkquitting is good unless God gave you the idea
