Title: Card Questions
Post by: Crashfach2002 on April 22, 2009, 05:55:42 PM
I am currently going through my cards and am using the downloadable list of redemption cards to determine what cards I don't have.  I have a couple of questions about these cards, and didn't know where to post it.  These cards are listed as being in the old a/b, A/B starter decks and as promos as well.  So my question is how can you tell the difference if the card I have is the starter deck card or the promo?

Here are the cards:
Stillness (Blue Enhancement)
Meditation (Purple Enhancement)
Burial (Evil Dominant)
Lost Soul - Ezekiel 36:19

This would also benefit me since after this question is answered I will have some cards I am going to look to trade!

Thanks for the help

Hm.... I'm not sure if you can. They look exactly the same I think.  :-\

The promos are the limited versions of the card, and don't have the second copyright line (the one for Cactus).  The starter deck versions were printed with the unlimited set and have 2 copyright lines.

I have one other question about another promo card:  does the Shoes of Peace promo always have the Origins 95 stamped in the bottom left hand corner.  The reason I ask is because based on the downloadable list the Shoes of Peace card only came in the a/b Limited deck, meaning that the Cactus Game Design, Inc. copyright would not be in the bottom right hand corner.  But yet I have 3 Shoes of Peace that don't have the Origins 95, and do have the extra copyright.  I'm just trying to figure out exactly what cards I have.

There are several different versions of Shoes of Peace. Only the special Origins '95 promo version has the stamp. The regular versions came in certain starter decks.

If you're talking about the Complete Card List from Cactus, a/b refers to the UNlimited printing, which would have the copyright.
