Women's Play testing Cards

Okay VETERAN players and collectors. I am also looking at purchasing a complete set of this unfinished women's play testing cards from the same friend but neither of us has any idea what these cards should be sold for. He also has a few uncut sheets of cards and we could use some valuable input on prices for these. (One of which is the Women's, with error cards included) Thank you so much!

Here are my thoughts for what they are worth...

The Women's Playtest set of cards would be something only a collector would have interest in which shrinks your possible base of interest. I am unfamiliar with how these were made by playtesters back then. Are they on blank card stock, blank backed Redemption cards, something else altogether? Do they have the card stats written on them or is there some type of early artwork on the cards as well? Depending on the answer to these questions I could see the set easily fetching between $50 and $100 retail. The rarity of the set could also affect this price depending on how many of these are out there. I have personally only seen one with my own eyes.

As far as the uncut sheets go, there is a similar demand for that kind of item. When they were for sale through Cactus they were between $50 and $100 to buy if I remember correctly so that would be a safe place to begin with these. The fact that one of your uncut sheets contains the Women's Error cards should raise the value of that specific sheet to between $100 and $150 retail. These numbers are heavily contingent on the condition of the uncut sheets though. Are they flat or are they curved and or folded somehow?

My question is why are you asking for a value on these items? Are you wanting to sell them? Let me know cause I may have interest in some or all of your items.

I believe I paid 150.00 for my set about 2-3 years ago.

Travis,

As far as I know there was only 1 type of Women's play test cards issued to playgroups. They were on Redemptiok cards with blank fronts and stickers showing card info affixed to the front. The stickers showed name, brigade, card type, abilities (*/*), some special abilities and some Scripture references.

If it is the same set I had then there were also several cards that were not released in the Women's set and several cards that have not been released to this day. Also,Coat of Many Colors is a dominant!

Brad bought my set in August 2012 for $157.50 on eBay. Although the eBay listing is still there, the images no longer display. You can read a more full description of my set to determine if this set is the same:

The reason that I was asking is because I have a friend wanting to sell them and I wanted to get a price range to know if I could afford them or not. I can get some pictures of them and post them to give you all a better idea of exactly what the items are. It might be a few days before we meet up again. I will keep you all posted.

That would be great to see pictures of them. So perhaps my $100 retail would be low end with a high end of $150. They have not become more available so perhaps to error on the high side would be more appropriate.

How do I get photos posted on here? I have the pictures of the women's sheets and play testing cards.

You have to host them from a 3rd party site or use your Dropbox.

Alright everyone. Hopefully this link works. There are multiple pictures located here. There are a total of 3 sheets of women's cards, at all different stages. Some of the cards were changed from sheet to sheet. The final sheet does have the women's error cards on it as well.

The play testing cards do have some that were changed as well, and some that changed brigade color or were renamed or released in other sets. These cards are printed on official redemption stock and there is a picture with all of them stacked together.

I appreciate the feedback on these collectors items. If anyone is interested in purchasing them, please let me know and I can get you in touch with my friend who is selling them!

In Christ,
Jeremy
