I had mentioned this a while back but it got put on the back burner until now. I am offering over 1100 cards for a new playgroup or host that needs a stockpile of basic cards. The vast majority of these cards see no playing time in tournament decks, so don't expect a pot of gold. There are some good cards in here, but they are the minority.
Whoever wants these would need to pay for shipping. The box is 4.5 pounds, so check USPS website for shipping costs.
The cards are being offered as-is with some cards showing obvious wear. There are plenty of cards that would qualify as mint, but I do not have time to list condition.
I have broken down the numbers by set, since some people wanted to know that earlier. The numbers are close approximates:
40 Limited
200 Unlimited
300 Prophets
40 Women
30 Warrior
200 Apostles
110 Patriarchs
40 Kings
130 Angel Wars
30 Priests
10 A/B Starters (mostly multicolor enhancements)
20 C/D Starters
30 E/F Starters

If you and the recipient will both be at NATS, that would save shipping :)

Unless someone volunteers to pay for my trip, there is a less than zero percent chance of me attending Nats.

aww, sad!

For now you at least qualify as Quote Royalty.

Does anyone know of a new playgroup leader, or even new player that may be interested in these cards?
-
If you don't find someone to take them, I will. My playgroup's been going strong for almost a year now (Go Raiders!), but I plan on starting several new ones with local youth groups. (Almost spelled that uth, thanks Travis). I could distribute your cards among these leaders.

I'm trying to start a play group and am interested in the cards. Looking at flat rate shipping what do you think the rate would be?

I have them currently in a long card box. The box's dimensions are 15"x4"x3" and it weighs 4.5 pounds. I will be shipping from 34714 Zip Code. You can go to USPS.com and click on Calculate Postage to see what it will cost. I could transfer the cards to a Flat-Rate box, but the cost will be about the same either way. I would recommend keeping them in the current box since they fit tightly and will not get bent during shipping.

$18.35 for priority
$10.95 for a comparable flat rate box.

$10.35 for regular postal rate. ;)

I'll send you the money for S&H and some extra. Please let me know how I can get you the funds.

PayPal is the easiest way, but you can send a check or money order if you wish. I do not require any additional money than the shipping cost from the USPS website. I do not need a "handling" charge since the Post Office is right around the corner. If you really insist, you can add 95 cents for the card box. ;)

just so you know, when I send cards i usually check the price of sending them USPS parcel post. Sometimes is cheaper, sometimes it's more

Parcel Post was what I meant by "regular postal rate." That is the only non-Priority option for a box.
