Which is the better Redemption hero?
-
You can't beat Josh's protection.
-
Or his CBN for all of Teals fun cards.
-
Captain's ability to splash is useful in more than just one type of deck. Joshua isn't that good outside of a Z-temple deck (For what I've seen). Also Captain + Army of the Lord with TSA = Lost Soul 99% of the time

Captain negates TSA...
-
Right...but TSA has numbers. Captain + Army of the Lord would work with any W/C angel. Silver is weak though.
Versatility, Captain wins hands down. Stoppability, Joshua wins hands down. Joshua has a bit more of an edge as far as usefulness goes, mainly because of brigade and Z's Temple.
-
WOW this is REALLY tight!
-
mmmmm......tough call....2 great heroes and both useful in their own right...wow....tough choice, but I'll go with..............
Godspeed,
Mike

Best enhancement in the game. Unfortunately, it's silver (and awesome on Captain), so I'm assuming you went with Captain. Joshua is better.
-
I'm actually pretty surprised Captain is winning. I thought this would be all Josh. I mean, Josh is unstoppable, but there are so many CBP evil cards now, as well as Herods, that Captain is just a bit too easy to stop now IMO.
-
you'd think so but the fact is he's still quite an annoyance simply cause hes an angel

Exactly right. Josh needs Z-Temple to protect him from capture whereas most of the popular capture cards (Writ, Charms, Herod's Dungeon) do nothing against Captain. Captain also stops Uzzah.

This is a really tough one.
Josh is essential in any Teal deck. CotH is essential in any Silver deck.
Teal is better. Point - Josh (dominating win)
Josh + Zeal (and maybe TBlast + Holy Unto the Lord) could easily be splashed in any deck for a LS (or 3). But CotH is the definition of splash. His band range from prophets decks (Simeon) to Genesis decks (Jacob) to speed decks (Israelite Archer) to FBN banding decks, etc.
Versatility. Point - CotH (dominating win)
Josh doesn't win a battle unless he has an enhancement to play. CotH wins battles all by himself.
Raw power. Point - CotH (dominating win)
CBN stuff will beat both guys because neither gets inish normally. CBP stuff beats CotH. CBI stuff beats Josh. Josh is protected by Z-temple from almost everything. CotH is basically protected from discard by Chamber of Angels and from some common capture (ie. Unholy Writ) because he isn't human.
Vulnerability. Point - Josh (close win)
Winner: I think I'll go with CotH. His 2 wins were bigger.
-
Throwing a wrench into your works, Capitan is protected from a lot by virtue of not being human.
-
Hmm... guess who Im votin for! ::) I do like Josh though. But, again he is bad for initiative. Captain can be banded to by Jacob, and is a BTN hero.
-
Captain is worse for initiative. And even if you could get inish, nothing would work on him anyway.
Teal has four interrupts. Joshua really doesn't need inish.

Five now with Eli's Sound Advice. And two let you play next.
-
First-turn Captain is pretty hard to beat, though.
-
I think this is the most swingy matchup so far. Joshua was the strong winner at first, but Captain is winning by far now.
