Protect this Hero from capture and conversion. Protect heroes in your territory and set a-side from discard abilities.

Going with Aaron here, band to Moses, U&T, Hidden Treasures (2 possible preblock ignores), Eli's Sound Advice, Provisions ect ect

Band to Moses is better than using Zeal, and being green brigade is better than capture protection. Not even close.
