This is close I'm going with Joiada.  Becasue for Joiada to work Z's temple has to be in play, and assuming Z'temple is in play, Joiada would be protected from more than Abiathar.  But mostly because I like Joiada's name better... =P

Protected from all the wrong things. Joiada isn't supposed to stay in battle regardless, so his protection is moot.

Abiathar can play Zadok Anoints Solomon. FTW.
