This one really depends if it's disciples or warriors.

I would assume in all of these votes that we are talking about the best version of each character.  Therefore, this would NOT be referring to the Di Gabriel :)

Whoever created Di Gabe needs to look at himself in the mirror for messing up the 5th best character in the game.

Actually, in some of my decks, I use him over the warriors. The DI is also better in multiplayer.

It's the Warriors version.

Here's what all the playtesters THOUGHT was going to be on the Gabriel card:

Search discard pile for a good Luke Enhancement and shuffle it into deck to protect Luke Heroes from capture and discard.

That was going to work nicely in a green NT prophets deck, since Simeon is a Luke hero and can band to Gabriel.  It would also work nicely in combination with Zecharias and Gabriel Meets Zecharias, or in Luke decks in general.  He was supposed to be used for battle challenges, the way the Warriors one is.  But instead of thinning your opponent's deck, it was supposed to reload yours.  And, while he was reloading your deck, he was protecting your heroes from opponent's worst enhancements.  It was a good choice if everyone in your area uses Jerusalem Tower.

Unfortunately, an old version slipped throught the cracks and we got this instead:

Search discard pile for a good Luke Enhancement and add it to hand.  You may remove it from the game to protect Gabriel from capture and discard.

In a way it is better, since you get the enhancement right away.  But the protection is far too costly and too limited.  I suppose it is OK in multiplayer, where you have a lot of Christian Martyrs to think about.  But the old one would have been even better for Multi, since you get the enhancement back eventually, and it protects more than just Gabriel.

wow, the intended version of Gabriel would have really contended for the crown.  I would have totally used that in my decks.

That seems to happen a lot.  Is there a problem with Cactus QA?

warriors Gabriel vs Angel of warning, I gotta go with Gabe just because you can use his ability a lot of times, with Angel of Warning he is good for the fortresses and looking at the opponents hand, but still discarding enhancements good or evil is always an awesome choice.
