This one could go either way, and I'm actually really interested to see how far Sam even makes it this year, given how much of a 'staple' he has been in the past.

I'm going Sam here. Sam is More consistent and don't forget how awesome negate play abilities is, CBN edict, and doesn't cost you a card.

I went Jephthah. 2 for 1 discard is solid, plus he has combo applicability.

I played Jephthah when he was just a red hero with a worse ability in almost every deck stand alone.  I'm going Jephthah.

My wife discarded her Son of God once with Jephthah. I didn't let her take it back.

Defenses were considered huge if they had 10 cards in them back in the day. It's a different game today, I'll stick with Sammie boy
