There weren't a lot of people who nominated...and of those who did, he came up a couple times. He can actually be really sneaky, and he's recurrable with Outpost.

I voted for Proud Pharisee as well.

Philly Priests is good, but 12FG is surprisingly better. I never thought he'd be much good, but he comes in handy so often...

I would agree, but since PP won't win, I felt the need to support him.

He absolutely destroys a Jacob/Captain band when Jacob is splashed.

I would agree, but since PP won't win, I felt the need to support him.
If we every play at a big tournament, I'll remind you that since there's no chance I'll win, you should still support me by letting me win against you.

I went with Philistine Priests. His ability is pretty unique, and can unpleasantly surprise your opponent. TFG is very situational and bad for initiative.

Black shouldn't need initiative.

If you run a Philistine site deck, he can negate Priestly Crown or Covenant of Levi. Better yet, if your opponent is depending on Lampstand to stop you from using an evil dom, PP can negate it and let you Dom away.

I went with TFG because I have found him incredibly useful despite his huge numbers. The several negates Phillies have access to helps, and anytime you can turn a 2-3 Hero attack into a 1 Hero attack that is now susceptible to CM or Unholy Writ, you have a good situation. But I definitely think that Philistine Priests deserve a place here.

Several? Black has the second most negates/interrupts in the game, and theirs are better than most of Brown's. They might even have more than Brown...Gold has a lot too.

Wait.... how does black have the second most? Is there a list some where of all the negates?

I guess theirs is more interrupts. Although I don't believe they have an interrupt last, they have:
Bringing Fear, Foolish Advice, Joseph in Prison, Philistine Chariot and Horses, and Devourer. That's a lot of really good ones.
Gold has:
Moses Kills the Egyptian, Egyptian Chariot and Horses, Ruthless, and I'm sure there's one I'm missing...
Brown has:
Stiff Necked, Korah's Rebellion, Mask of Arrogance, Shimei's Malicious Curse, and there's gotta be a couple I'm missing...

Maybe they have the most. For evil, at least.

And he is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
