2. King David
11/11 Purple (Prophet, King of Israel, Musician)
May not be blocked by any member of any royal family.
Versus
6. Abigail
4/12 Purple (Israelite Royalty) X = number of your OT warrior class heroes
You may draw X (limit 3). Protect characters in your territory and Lost Souls in opponent's territory from evil cards. May band to David.

Thad is bad. As in good. Because he just stops the defense from being able to do anything, even if they are not royalty. This one will likely be close, but Thad is much better IMO.

Thad

reworked bracket to standard instead of cross bracketing apologies

Ouch, this one is much tougher...
For the reasons I mentioned above, I go with Abigail, she's overall better IMO. I understand the power David has against the meta, but I still feel she is the best.

King David is nice but only because he stops Royalty(Since there both Purple and have the same stuff) Abigail Draws bands and Protects form a lot of bad stuff. To me this pretty Clean cut.

Half of the ECs used can't block KD. GG.

On paper, I might actually give Abi the upper-hand here. King David's ability is crazy, but Abi does a good job stopping some key players in meta defenses and draws. The issue is that I won't ever use her in a deck without King David, whereas I can justify using KD without her. I have to go with King David.

If your going for a fifth soul and have no support for your hero are you going King David or Abigail. The answer is clear you band Abigail to King David :)
Vote David!

Maybe in the current meta, KD reigns supreme. But as PBI gets nerfed over time, and as defenses that don't use royalty become popular again, Abigail will still be awesome. Plus, she bands to KD. Abby wins this for me.
