1. Daniel
6/7 Green/White (Prophet)
Negate special abilities on Fortresses, Evil Characters, and N.T. Enhancements. May band to a Daniel Hero or look at opponent's hand. Cannot be negated.
Versus
5. Hosea
5/4 Green (prophet)
You may capture an O.T. human Evil Character with a band ability to opponent's Land of Bondage. Cannot be interrupted.

Daniel is by far the better hero to me. Negates EC (and a whole bunch more useful stuff), and can look at hand (extremely powerful) or band to Gabriel or Michael (also fun). In terms of sheer power and usefulness, these two are very close, but Daniel is just better overall.

apology reworked this to standard bracketing instead of cross bracketing

Same vote as before, though I do like Hosea.

CBI soul gen/ capture of a pesky EC. I'm going with Hosea on the upset although I know it won't happen.

Daniel is 1000 times better than Hosea

Well, I don't know if 1000 is the correct ratio, but Hosea can't win battles by himself, has access to few good enhancements (unless Isaiah or Ezekiel is in play) and fewer CBN GEs, and doesn't stop chump blocks.
