Protect this hero from capture. You may look at an opponent's hand or face down cards on a site. You may then withdraw hero from the battle unharmed.

If Zerrubbable's Temple is in play, you may search your discard pile for an offering or feast enhancement and add it to hand or battle.

Joiada has some fun combo use, but Ahimaaz's fantastic initiative and ability to look at hand, and WC status put him ahead by far.  Both have High Priest status for U+T, so that does not come into play.

I'd take a recursion/play first ability way before a hand spy, even with the limited choices. Besides why go into battle and commit to that rescue when you can just flip U&T.
